Alberta has 106 hospitals, but only two dedicated to children – who have different health needs from adults. Katherine Sweet from the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation says during this election campaign, parties should remember one out of four Albertans are children and prioritize accordingly. She also outlined the hospital’s long term plan, which includes eventually having their own standalone building.
