Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed Wednesday that outspoken Whitby MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes had quit the Liberal caucus and would sit as an independent. She has voiced support for Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott in the past amid the SNC-Lavalin controversy, and said she would not run for re-election this fall.
