U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and his sister Ann met on Thursday with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and his partner Matt Barrett in Washington, D.C. The four chatted and posed for a photo before heading inside the U.S. Naval Observatory for breakfast. The meeting drew attention in part because Pence is widely known for his conservative views on LGBT rights.
