City of Vancouver possible room rental bylaws

City of Vancouver looking to change the antiquated bylaws that prohibit multi room rentals in homes. The change has been ignited by the fact hundreds of mansions are now suddenly appearing for rent to avoid the empty home/spec taxes in Vancouver. B/C the rents are sometimes over $6000/mon it’s rare one family could afford to rent them, so many owners are renting them out room by room, which technically isn’t allowed.
