City experiencing ‘significant’ increase in gun violence, say Winnipeg police

As officers investigate the eighth homicide of the year Tuesday, Const. Jay Murray said police have seen an increase of gun violence ‘year-to-year’ in the city. Officers seized 1,714 firearms in 2018.
