Didn’t mention Quebec election to former AG out of ‘partisan interests’: Wernick

Michael Wernick, clerk of the privy council office, said on Wednesday during testimony to the justice committee that he didn’t mention the Quebec election during discussions of the SNC-Lavalin case out of “partisan interests.”
