Pressure to halt exports and arms sales to Saudi Arabia

The Canadian government is still reviewing its contract to sell $13-billion worth of light-armoured vehicles to Saudi Arabia. Germany took a stand immediately, after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, halting its military exports to the kingdom. But as Redmond Shannon reports, Angela Merkel’s government is under pressure to reverse that decision.
