City officials responded to claims from the firefighters union president that fire crews are being put in the line of fire, attending to calls that are police work Wednesday. When asked if Winnipeg police have enough officers to deal with the number of calls relating to alcohol and meth crimes, Deputy Chief Gord Perrier said the service has the resources they need.
