Therese Patricia Okoumou came down Wednesday evening after climbing an Austin children’s detention centre in protest of U.S. immigration policies. Following her descent, Sgt. Frank Rodriguez said, “She’s protesting, she doesn’t have any animosity towards the police department, the city of Austin.”
