Fighting for better care

Wed, Feb 20: A group of veterans and families of recently deceased veterans have been granted permission to launch a class action lawsuit against both the Federal and Provincial governments. The 96-year-old veteran who launched the action says the province failed to uphold the level of care that was promised when the Ste Anne’s Veteran’s Hospital was transferred from Federal jurisdiction.
