During Family Day, the Peterborough Petes welcomed a new player on the ice.
Jake Mather, 7, was selected by staff at Five Counties Children’s Care in Peterborough to lace up with the Petes.
Mather, who was born with Down Syndrome, uses the services at Five Counties.
Monday’s game was a fundraiser for Five Counties.
