Speaking to Venezuelan Americans in Miami on Monday, President Donald Trump called Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro a “dictator” and criticized him for preventing humanitarian aid from reaching his people. Trump added, “We seek a peaceful transition of power but all options are open” referring to a transfer of power to Juan Guiado.
