Indigenous organization taking over CAS files involving First Nations families

Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family Services is taking over hundreds of files from the Children’s Aid Society. The change is part the result of the Truth and Reconciliation commission, and an effort to ensure Indigenous children who have been removed from their homes do not lose contact with their culture.
