Toronto charity denies spreading “revolutionary ideology”

The Islamic Shia Assembly of Canada is denying allegations it was formed to spread Iranian revolutionary propaganda in Canada. After operating here for more than two decades, the prominent charity is now in a bitter court battle with the Canada Revenue Agency. As Jeff Semple reports, documents obtained by Global News show the CRA’s concerns started years ago.
