A review carried out by the Florida State Attorney of the June 2016 attack on the Pulse Nightclub showed that the gunman, Omar Mateen, spent three hours inside one of the club’s bathrooms “Googling” how to spell the word “allegiance” and tips on ways to fix his jammed assault rifle.
