Canadian government commits $7M toward civic literacy ahead of upcoming election

Minister of Democratic Institutions, Karina Gould, said Monday that the Canadian government would “dedicate” $7 million towards digital, news and civic literacy programming to help Canadians make informed decisions during the 2019 election.
