Ile-Perrot mom recounts harrowing experience at train crossing

Thu, Jan 24: A 26-year-old woman and her four-year-old daughter are lucky to be alive after the car they were in was struck by a freight train. Amanda Collins was on her way to pick her son up from school when her car got stuck in the snow at a level crossing. As Global’s Billy Shields explains, Collins was able to unbuckle her daughter just seconds before the train crashed into the car.
