U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell put forward the bill by President Donald Trump to provide protection for so-called Dreamers and funding for his border wall on Tuesday, saying the vote will occur this week and rejecting it would show Democrats “have prioritized political combat with the president” ahead of furloughed workers.
