Flight attendants say shutdown threatening airline safety

International President of the Association of Flight Attendants, Sara Nelson, on behalf of out-of-work Transportation Security Administration agents, called for an end to the government shutdown, suggesting President Trump’s stubbornness to build a border wall in order to strengthen border security, is threatening airline security and safety.
