Marine life is “worse off” inside protected area

Marine protected areas are supposed to be bodies of water legally protected from over-fishing. In Europe, there are approximately 730 areas and at least 12 in Canada, with the goal to safeguard wildlife. But as Ross Lord reports new research shows these conservation measures are back-firing.
