Ontario Energy Minister Greg Rickford said that the government legislation that would prohibit any strikes or lockouts by the Ontario Power Generation or the Power Workers’ Union could pass as early as Thursday, but that there is still room for the Opposition to “stop the debate.” In addition, the OPG will begin the ‘winding down’ process on Friday if the bill is not passed.
