Summerland care home under scrutiny

A care home in Summerland that has been in the news before is under scrutiny again. In early 2013, Interior Health shut down new admissions at the Summerland Seniors Village and placed an administrator in the facility after the deaths of two seniors who weren’t checked on for hours or even days at a time. Now the care home, which has since been sold, is in the news again.
