The Independent Investigations Office has released its decision regarding a Kelowna RCMP officer that shot and injured a homeless man in the summer of 2017.
The IIO found no wrong-doing in the officer’s actions when she fired her weapon at a man in a homeless camp who was carrying an axe handle and refused to drop it, but instead, kept approaching.
