Alaska governor says large earthquake was ‘different’, says no loss of life reported

Alaskan Gov. Bill Walker said Friday that the magnitude 7.0 earthquake which occurred near Anchorage was “different” from past quakes and said he had made a declaration of disaster, but no deaths had been reported.
