Peterborough’s new council and mayor go through orientation session ahead of first council meeting

Peterborough’s new mayor Diane Therrien and city council were sworn in on Monday night and come Thursday they found themselves in a classroom for a council orientation session where staff laid the groundwork on how to do their new jobs.
Work will begin to pile on as the 2019 draft budget will be presented Monday ahead of council’s first general committee meeting
