Wed, Nov 28: Volunteers are busy stuffing decorated shoeboxes with goodies that are given to women in need at local shelters across the country. Each box is valued at about $50 and includes items like chocolate and toiletries But as Global’s Shelley Steeves reports – the gesture itself is often more valued than the gifts.
