Mixed reaction to ridesharing coming to Okanagan

After months of delays, the provincial government has finally paved the way for ridesharing in British Columbia. The NDP made the announcement today, but it won’t be until this time next year before ride sharing companies like Uber providing service in the Okanagan. As Kelly Hayes reports, local reaction to today’s announcement is mixed — with some praising the pending arrival while others say it will destroy the cab industry.
