Two extricated in collision on County Road 28 north of Port Hope, Ont.

Two people were trapped in a minivan following a crash just north of Port Hope on Thursday night.
The t-bone collision with a pickup truck happened on County Road 28 just before 6 pm. It sent the pickup into the ditch while the van blocked the roadway.
Port Hope firefighters had to extricate the driver and passenger from the minivan. They were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.

The road was closed for an hour – it was one of a number of collisions in Northumberland County .
