Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, saying the pair had a “frank and open” chat on a wide range of issues, including on human rights and free expression. But as Abigail Bimman reports, it’s a tricky balancing act for any Canadian leader, but especially tricky for Trudeau, who has made human rights a centrepiece of his government.
