These meerkats were a curious bunch as they explored and tasted a Jack o’-‘lantern added to their display at the Riverview Park and Zoo in Peterborough.
Zoo officials say pumpkins are a great enrichment to the diets of many of its animals.
On Facebook, staff said they thank those who donated pumpkins but say they have an abundance of gourds and are no longer accepting donations.
