Taxi and SUV collide in Peterborough

At least two people were taken to hospital following a collision between a taxi and SUV in Peterborough’s north end on Monday night.

The vehicles collided at the intersection of Parkhill Road and Reid Street just after 11:30 p.m. Both vehicles had significant front end damage.

Police say one driver reportedly suffered minor injuries while the other driver was not injured.

A 19-year-old Cobourg man was charged with making an unsafe turn under the Highway Traffic Act.

Damage to both vehicles estimated at
$20,000.
