NDP MP and critic for Veterans Affairs Gord Johns explained a motion being put forward by his party Monday which will require Veterans Afffairs to carry over unspent funds at the end of each year until the department can meet prescribed service standards in the areas it’s lagging behind on. Johns says it’s a problem that needs to be fixed.
