Gov. to move forward with ‘free and rapid pardons’ for simple marijuana possession charges

At a town hall Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that the government is moving forward with ‘free and rapid pardons’ for people with simple charges for marijuana possession. “We just don’t want especially young people to have a record for something that is no longer illegal,” he added.
