Church sanctuary is ‘contrary to Canadian law,’ says public safety minister

Churches who offer failed refugees sanctuary are breaking the law, says Canada’ public safety minister, Ralph Goodale. But the Canada Border Service Agency acts “conscientiously” when deciding how to enforce the law, he says.
