At Monday’s swearing-in ceremony to the U.S. Supreme Court, President Donald Trump apologized to justice Brett Kavanaugh and his entire family for the “terrible pain and suffering” they have been forced to endure, he said. He added that what happened to the Kavanugh family violates every notion of fairness, decency and due process.
