Candidate pitches gender parity on council, but the numbers don’t look good

If elected, mayoral candidate Jennifer Keesmaat says she’ll make sure women are involved in more decision making at City Hall. But even ahead of election day, the number of women running for office doesn’t look good for achieving gender parity.
