McConnell says Kavanaugh confirmation will happen Friday, Schumer says ‘give me a break’

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday the confirmation vote of Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court will happen Friday, but when he accused Democrats of trying to delay the vote for political reasons, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded, “gimme a break.”
