Transit safety: City of Edmonton taking ‘holistic’ approach when deciding between bus shields and hiring more security officers

Gord Cebryk, deputy manager of city operations, said increasing Edmonton transit security doesn’t come down to “one or the other” when deciding between bus safety shields or hiring more officers, because the city wants all safety measures put in place.
