Shah and Amir Gilani, and their son Karim, share their personal story of the effects of Alzheimer’s on a family. Shah Gilani was diagnosed with the disease in 2015, and today at 67 Shah is in the middle stages of Alzheimer’s and requires around-the-clock care. Susan Hay has the story.
