The first official event of Peterborough Pride Week 2018 kicked off Friday.
The rainbow Pride flag and the Trans flag were raised at CIty Hall to kick off the 16th annual Pride Week in the city. Organizers hope to raise awareness in the community. Pride Week runs until Sunday, Sept. 23 which will be marked with a parade.
