Lori Richey, Executive Director of the Peterborough Family Health Team salutes the opening of the PFHT Clinic at the Morton Community HealthCare Centre in Lakefield. IT is designed sole to serve the thousands of people in the area still without a family doctor. Currently operated by a Nurse Practitioner- led team, the clinic will eventually be an opportunity to attract physicians to the community. Richey explains why.
