Time-lapse footage shows millions of Muslims flokcing to Mecca for start of Eid al-Adha

Millions of Muslim pilgrims participated in the first day of Eid al-Adha, known as the Festival of Sacrifice and the holiest day on the Islamic calendar, during Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on August 21. This time-lapse footage here shows tens of thousands of pilgrims passing through the Bridge of Jamarat to “throw stones at the devil,” the Jamara al-Aqaba, part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
