Canada’s lumber industry claps back after Trump links imports to California wildfires

Derek Nighbor, the CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada, told Global News on Friday that President Donald Trump’s comments dismissing climate change and drawing a link between Canadian lumber imports and raging wildfires was “ridiculous” but also disrespectful to those dealing with wildfires, such as California.
