People gather outside Aretha Franklin’s childhood home in Memphis to honour Queen of Soul

People gathered outside Aretha Franklin’s childhood home in Memphis, Tenn. on Thursday to honour the Queen of Soul after it was announced she had died. Some signed pieces of cardboard that were on the home, including one writing “Respect” in honour of one of the singer’s famous song.
