Peterborough’s popular Folk Festival sets the scene for one of the most anticipated reunions in the city’s rich music history: The Spades are on the bill. The band is playing on stage for the first time in 5 years, and drummer Tommy Street will be there. It was not that long ago when a crippling illness meant this would probably never happen; but it’s all different today. Tommy Street talks about his long battle with Guillan-Barre syndrome and what it means to pick up the sticks once again with The Spades.
