Heavy rains prompted an emergency crew to rescue a person stranded on a fallen tree in Pickering Creek, Chester County in Pennsylvania on Monday. The rains flooded cars parked in a Pennsylvania parking lot. The downpours swelled rivers and waterways well above flood levels, closed roads and imperiled homes. The National Weather Service said there are multiple flash flood warnings in effect.
