Three Japanese automakers accused of cheating on emissions tests

Japan says that Mazda, Suzuki Motor, and Yamaha Motor conducted improper fuel economy and emissions tests on their vehicles. It’s the latest episode in a growing list of data falsifications that has tarnished the image of Japan’s auto industry.
