A ‘river fire’ blazes on near Mendocino, California

The U.S. Department of Defense released stunning footage of forest service crews working the ‘river fire’ last weekend. As of Tuesday morning, the ‘river fire’ has burned 27,069 acres and is 8% contained. The video was filmed by the 302nd Airlift Wing and shows the view of an HC-130H air tanker dropping retardant over the ‘river fire’ near Mendocino, California on July 28.
