About 30 people held a rally in Confederation Park in Peterborough on Saturday protesting the provincial government’s decision to revoke the 2015 sex education curriculum.
Organizers including Kate Yates say the province’s decision to revert back to the 1998 sex-ed curriculum is dangerous. They say it’s harmful to the LGBTQ community, and doesn’t address issues of consent and online safety.
The rally was one of dozens happening across Ontario Saturday.
