Bank of Canada Raises benchmark interest rate to 1.5%

The Bank of Canada has raised its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points. The overnight lending rate, as it’s often referred too, is at its highest level in 10 years.
As Personal Finance expert Rubina Ahmed-Haq tells us, Canadians will now have to start making some adjustments when it comes to their money situation.
